This captivating photograph was taken during an unforgettable adventure. After days of Waiting for the weather to dry up in Wyoming, and a visit to Banff, we found ourselves in Utah at the Onaqui Wild Horse Area. The weather had been against us, making dirt roads impassable but luck turned our way. As we drove through the dry, dusty terrain, we spotted a large herd of wild horses in the distance. Every so often, a small group would splinter off, galloping towards us with a freedom and wildness that was breathtaking to witness. Some horses whizzed past us, while others slowed to examine us with curiosity. But all of them were drawn to one location - the watering hole. We stayed back, allowing the horses their space, and used our zoom lenses to capture the unfolding dynamics at the watering hole. This particular shot, now available as a print, was an unexpected gift that day. It transformed our trip from a series of missed opportunities to a treasure trove of memories.
